KG Enterprise, Inc. is located between
Bull Shoals Lake and Lake Norfork in North Central Arkansas. Although
Bull Shoals and the nearby White River are more famous, Lake Norfork is
well known for great stri per fishing and was the perfect place to test and
refine the Hyper Striper Jigs.Early on we found that the arced, tapered design along with a perfectly positioned Eagle Claw 60 degree bend down hook worked extremely well when trolling, casting and on the fall. The jigs would track straight and not turn over at higher than normal speeds. We then protected our inventive design with a Configuration Trademark, Registration No. 1,635,872. Our good friends, Tom and Karl Schmuecker, at nearby Wapsi Fly helped us with their high quality bucktail in many colors and knowledge of painting and tying jigs. Local striper guides began using the Hyper Striper jigs extensively and with great success. Bass Pro Shops was among the first to recognize that Hyper Striper jigs could be very profitable. Since the beginning striper fishermen stopped by our shop to purchase Hyper Striper jigs and get information on how and where to fish them. Many ca  me back for more jigs or to show off their catch. But after the
addition of the Hyper Tails and the invention of the Hyper Umbrella
trolling rig, even the beginners were having tremendous success and
coming back to brag about their catch. From this beginning the Hyper Striper System evolved into the premier set up for catching big stripers. Hyper Striper jigs are packaged and sold under Bass Pro Shops Hyper Striper Stump Jumper label and also sold in bulk to dealers. |
